**Explore the vastness of the Patagonian steppe on horseback and discover unique landscapes!** Cancellation Policy: *free cancellation* up to 48 hours before departure The excursion begins with **pickup at a meeting point in downtown Bariloche, starting at 9:30 AM**. From there, we will travel for approximately 45 minutes to the La Fragua outpost, located about 30 km from the city, deep within the Patagonian steppe. Upon arrival at the ranch, we will enjoy a **traditional Patagonian breakfast**—featuring hot drinks like tea, coffee, or *mate*, accompanied by delicious *tortas fritas* (fried dough)—to start the day with authentic local flavors. Next, we will meet our horses—gentle animals accustomed to navigating the region's rugged terrain. Once ready, we will set off on a **horseback ride lasting approximately two hours**, traversing open landscapes and lesser-traveled corners of the steppe. Along the way, we will cross streams and ascend toward natural viewpoints, offering expansive vistas of the Patagonian landscape. We will also have the chance to discover the local flora and fauna, and—if we are lucky—spot condors soaring above the mountains. After the ride, we will return to the ranch to enjoy a **Patagonian *asado* (barbecue)**—a perfect opportunity to savor the region's traditional cuisine in an authentic rural setting. Following this relaxing break, we will begin our return journey to **Bariloche**. Along the way, you can watch the landscape gradually transform: the open terrain and characteristic steppe vegetation give way to the lush green of the Andean forests that surround the city.
